Ranchi (Jharkhand) [India], September 14 (ANI): Following Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Jharkhand on September 17, Assam Chief Minister and Jharkhand co-election in-charge, Himanta Biswa Sarma, said that PM Modi will be inaugurating the Vande Bharat trains in Jamshedpur.
The PM is going to announce various schemes for the people of Jharkhand during this, he added.
“The Prime Minister is coming to Jharkhand tomorrow; the Vande Bharat train will also be inaugurated. Along with this, we had promised during the elections that if our government comes, 3 crore families across the country will get Pradhan Mantri Awas. The Prime Minister will inaugurate it from the great land of Jharkhand …,” said Himanta Biswa Sarma.
Earlier, former Union Minister and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Arjun Munda had said, “PM Narendra Modi is coming to Jamshedpur and from here he will address the common people while announcing several schemes for the people of this region. The railway programme that will happen is for inaugurating the Vande Bharat train. The train is designed keeping in mind the comfortability of passengers and to reduce travel time.”
The BJP leader also said that apart from Vande Bharat’s inauguration, several other rural development schemes across the country will also be inaugurated, “Several schemes for rural development for the whole country will also be inaugurated during the visit. Schemes for housing will be inaugurated. The government’s aim is to make sure the welfare schemes reach the people properly, so for that a big step will be taken in the Jamshedpur programme.”
The PM will then participate in a public meeting organised by the BJP at Gopal Maidan in Jamshedpur. (ANI)
