Bengaluru (Karnataka) [India], November 24 (ANI): Congress leader Sharan Prakash Patil, the Minister in charge of Raichur District and the Minister for Medical Education, Skill Development, and Livelihood on Saturday expressed his happiness following the results of the recent by-elections held in Karnataka, stating the guarantee schemes and efficient governance contributed to Congress’ victory in the by-polls.
“The results serve as a testament to our government’s efficient administration,” said Congress leader Sharan Prakash Patil, as voters once again demonstrated their confidence in the Congress party by supporting them in the recent by-elections.
The minister said the by-election outcome is an indication for the 2028 assembly elections. He asserted that the exit polls were proven false as voters in Sandur of Kalyana Karnataka, Shiggon of Kittur Karnataka, and Channapatana in the Mysore region have supported the Congress party.
Patil criticised the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for misleading the public regarding the Mysore Urban Development Authority (MUDA), the Valmiki Development Corporation, and Waqf properties, stating that the people have given their verdict.
‘They attempted to mislead the public regarding MUDA, Valmiki Development Corporation, and Waqf properties. However, the people have given an appropriate verdict. This has once again embarrassed the BJP-JDS,’ he said.
“We have effectively implemented guarantee schemes across the state. Within one and a half years, our government guarantee schemes have reached people from all walks of life. The result of this is evident through the outcome by-elections of three assembly constituencies. Voters have approved of the development-focused government,” he added.
Sharan Prakash Patil further criticised BJP-JDS leaders for deceiving people by staging false dramas for several months.
“BJP-JDS leaders staged false dramas for several months to deceive the people, but the voters were smart enough to vote for the Congress that has stood by them at every moment.”
The minister concluded by saying all the Congress members were united under the able leadership of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar, and in the coming days, the government would continue to provide promised results to the people of the state. (ANI)
