Purnia (Bihar) [India], July 28 (ANI): Five suspects were arrested in connection with robbery at a jewellery showroom in Purnia, Bihar police said on Sunday.
Taking to X Bihar Police said, “So far 5 suspects have been arrested in the jewellery robbery case at Tanishq showroom in Purnia, the case will be successfully solved soon. Teams formed for quick resolution of the robbery and arrest of the criminals are conducting raids in West Bengal with the help of the state police.”
The robbery incident took place on July 26 at the Tanishq showroom in Purnia.
Earlier, Purnia SP Upendra Nath Verma said, “Several inputs have been received from the investigation done after the robbery. On the basis of the investigation two people have been detained and soon all the criminals will be in police custody.”
He said that a gang from other state carried out the crime. “Five different police teams have been formed to arrest the culprits. Special Task Force (STF) Additional Director General of Police (ADG) Amrit Raj is keeping an eye on the whole case.” he added.
Verma said that soon all the criminals will be arrested. (ANI)
