Agartala (Tripura) [India], July 3 (ANI): As many as 21 students have passed their Class 10 board exams (Madhyamik Exams) in Tripura after the review of their answer scripts held recently, according to a senior official of the Tripura Board of Secondary Education.
Speaking exclusively to ANI, the President of the Tripura Board of Secondary Education, Dr. Dhananjoy Gan Chowdhury, said that this year a total of 2,042 students applied for a review of their answer scripts, out of which 747 students got their results changed. He further said that only 21 students had passed the exams at the end of the review.
“This year, for the review of answer scripts for the Madhyamik exams, a total of 2,042 students have applied. Out of them, 747 students have had their results changed, and only 21 students have passed the exams after the review was conducted. In addition, seven students got the chance to appear for the Bachar Bachao exam. The Bachar Bachao exam is conducted for students who have failed in just two subjects,” said Chowdhury.
In the case of higher secondary examinations, he said that none of the students could pass the exams after reviewing the answer scripts.
“A total of 1,385 students applied for the review of results for the higher secondary examinations. After carrying out the review, only 510 students have their results changed. No student could secure passing marks and only one student could qualify for the Bachar Bachao exams after the review of results,” he added.
The Board has also issued notifications asking the students to fill out the forms to appear in the Bachar Bachao exams, which are likely to be held in the last week of July.
“The Board authorities have issued a notification asking the students to fill out forms from July 8 to 11 to sit in the Bachar Bachao examination.
