New Delhi [India], April 22 (ANI): Two recent stabbing incidents in Delhi have raised concerns about safety in the city. On April 21, an 18-year-old boy named Krishna was stabbed in Yamuna Vihar’s Bhajanpura Police Station area.
According to the Delhi Police, the initial probe suggests that the victim and the accused are known to each other.
The Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) team reached the spot and is investigating the matter.
“A boy, namely Krishna, aged about 18 years, was stabbed in Delhi’s Yamuna Vihar area under PS Bhajanpura limits. critically injured and admitted to the Hospital. The initial probe reveals that the accused are known to each other. A team of FSL reached the spot and is investigating the matter”, Delhi Police said in their statement.
This incident comes on the heels of another stabbing case in Seelampur, where a 17-year-old boy was killed on April 17. The Delhi Police have made significant progress in the case, arresting nine individuals, including women and minors.
According to Delhi Police, the main accused, ‘Lady Don’ Zikra, along with Sahil (18), Zahida (42), Nafish (32), Sohaib (35), Aneesh (19), Vikas (29)and two minors aged about 17 and 15 years, have been taken into custody. (ANI)
